The weatherman says that this will be the weekend we feel the onset of autumn weather. While this break from the summer heat will be pleasant, it also marks a shift in the garden season. Now is the time to plant your fall garden so you can enjoy a harvest as the temperatures continue to drop. And with a little planning, you can even enjoy fresh veggies all winter long! Like that gorgeous Dragon Carrot, pictured above, which loves cool weather. Learn more about planning for a fall garden by reading my guest blog at groworganic.com and by attending my gardening workshop tomorrow, August 29 from 10-11am at Peaceful Valley Farm Supply in Grass Valley (it's free!).
