Garlic is a staple in my kitchen, and I've been enjoying the freshly harvested hardneck garlics from local farms. This week I tried German Red, which has excellent flavor with a bit of spiciness, huge cloves (about twice the size of a regular grocery store softneck garlic), and beautiful red papery covering that is super easy to peel. Learn more about the different varieties of garlic in my newest guest blog at groworganic.com, and then try some in Spaghetti Aglio e Olio!
